The "Plum/Black" pair sees Plum-colored uppers constructed of suedes and nubucks, decorated with intricate stitching details. A camo-like patterned overlay in a matching shade is applied near the heel. This same pattern is exhibited under the speckled, chunky black-and-grey chunky midsole. The added cushioning in the midsole and exaggerated Air Max Unit in the heel were deliberately incorporated to deliver comfort especially engineered for a women’s foot. Meanwhile, the tongue opts for a black mesh makeup that delivers a hiking aesthetic. Furthering the hiking theme, the Air Max Viva uses a unique lacing system that sees two criss-crossing, heavy-duty tech chord laces in purple and yellow.
